Police are investigating a shooting incident that has left a man in hospital.

According to police reports shortly after 1:00 am on Saturday 10 December, 2011 police received information that a male was shot at Union Village off Wulff Road.
Police responded and discovered the 28 year old of Amos Ferguson Street with multiple gunshot injuries to the body.
The victim was taken to hospital via EMS personnel where he is remains in critical condition.
Police are investigating and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding this or any other matter to contact police.
